Columbia Model A (Washington)
The Columbia Model A, announced in December 1896. The banner decal carried the Washington D.C. address, and so has been nicknamed the "Washington A". The bedplate is nickel plated steel and the black chassis is decorated with gold leaves and red berries. The motor is a single spring with no spring barrel so the crank turns as the unit plays.
